ProQuest scheduled maintenance on January 28th 2018 3am-11am

Our eresource supplier, ProQuest, has informed us there will be a scheduled maintenance window between 3am and 11am on Sunday 28th January, designed "to upgrade infrastructure, enhance security, and maintain reliability of various ProQuest products."

During this 8-hour window, some ProQuest products will be unavailable, including the following resources:

Research databases - all ProQuest Databases (search.proquest.com), including:

  • British Periodicals‎ 
  • European Newsstream‎
  • GeoRef‎
  • Humanities Index‎
  • MLA International Bibliography‎
  • Periodicals Archive Online‎ 
  • Social Science Premium Collection‎ 
  • The Vogue Archive‎

IEEE Xplore demo for undergraduates

Keele University Library currently subscribes to the Basic and Advanced Biology modules of JoVE Science Education.

Come along to this FREE session where JoVE's Maaike Pols will be demonstrating how to use the resource effectively and answering your questions.

This event is open to ALL (undergraduates; postgraduates; researchers; academics) and is suitable for both beginners and improvers. The focus will be on biology resources, but attendees from any specialism are welcome.
