URGENT - Email scam

Some of you may have received an email from libhelp@keele purporting to be from the Library talking about a new library system and asking you to activate a new library account. Please DO NOT click on this - it is a scam and the link actually goes to a server in Iran which has nothing to do with Keele University.

More advice about Internet safety is available from IT Services:

Library Christmas tree

The Library Christmas tree this year is very GREEN and is made entirely of recycled, reused and reusable materials. Library staff made the decorations and had great fun doing so. The paper chains have been fixed with NO staples, using an ingenious gadget called the Magic Stapler. Please spare a moment to take a look and spread the word. We have added seasonal greetings in 36 languages (so far) including Klingon. Can you work out what they all are?

We wish all our users and visitors the greatest health and happiness at Christmas and all through the year.
